Our Beliefs

Our Beliefs

  • We Believe the Bible is the foundation of our faith. We consider it to be infallible and wholly inspired by God. In the Bible God has revealed His plan of Salvation for man. (2 Timothy 3:15-17; Hebrews 4:12)
  • We Believe in the One True God, that He is a triune being known as God The Father, God The Son and God The Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; Mark 12:29)
  • We believe that Salvation is the free gift of God, offered to men and women by Grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, whose atoning blood was shed on the cross for the forgiveness of sins. (Romans 3:23-24; Ephesians 2:8-9)
  • We Believe that Water Baptism in an ordinance of the Church that openly proclaims to the world that the person being baptized has died with Jesus Christ and been raised with Him in newness of life. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 10:47-48) (We do not practice infant baptism, but we do dedicate infants to God).
  • We Believe the Holy Spirit is a free gift of God for every believer to empower them for Christian service. (Acts 1:8; Acts 19:6)
  • We Believe The Lord’s Supper (Holy Communion) is an ordinance of the Church in which the bread and the wine represent the broken body and the shed blood of Jesus Christ, symbolizing the new covenant which He established between God and man. (1 Corinthians 11:24-25 & 28-29)
  • We believe that The Life of the Believer involves separation from the ways of the world and must be characterized by consistent holy conduct before God and man. Every Christian should reflect the life-giving light and life of Jesus Christ to a world that lies in darkness. (Ephesians 5:1-12; Philippians 1:9-11; John 1:5-7; John 2:8-11 & 15-17)
  • We believe in the literal return of the Lord Jesus Christ to establish His Kingdom and reign in righteousness. “Awaiting our Blessed Hope, the appearing of our Great God and Savior Jesus Christ…” (Titus 2:13)
